2019 Carolina Classic Information


The Carolina Classic JBQ staff invite you and your team to come to this great tournament to compete against some of the best teams in the United States.  Carolina Classic has become a great precursor to District Finals, Regionals and Nationals.  Last year, we had a number of the top teams and individuals from Nationals who had quizzed at the Classic just a few months before. We look forward to seeing who will do that again this year.

 The 2019 Carolina Classic will be held at Calvary Church on February 16th.  Teams need to arrive at 8:30am in order to check-in.

The event will be governed using the National JBQ Guidelines for 2016, and the quizzers will compete over the entire Bible Fact-Pak (all 576 questions).

Lunch is provided for up to eight people per team. Additional meal tickets are available for purchase at cost. Please note: Time will not permit for anyone to leave the church for lunch. Details will be sent out to teams upon registration. Teams also need to provide two officials and a quiz box for the tournament.

Cost: $140 per team. Includes lunch for up to 8 people.

 Registration Deadline: Feb. 10th, 2019

Number of Teams: Registration is limited to the first 18 teams that pay. All members of all teams will receive a trophy. The number of matches quizzed and format will be determined by the number of teams that register.

Freebies: Each team will receive a license of Accubuzz for free. Additional license for quizzers on the registered teams will be sold at $30 per license.

The first Carolina classic was held in February 2001.Started by Mike Davis It was canceled only once back in 2002. It has been held annually ever since.The “Classic” is the premier Junior Bible Quiz event of the Southeast region. 
Every year top teams from around the nation come and sharpen their quizzing skills at this event. The event is hosted by legendary Bible Quiz guru, Brian King. His advice and leadership has shaped the lives of many young men and women.Be sure to register early, as this event often fills up.
